What kind of coal is suitable for the circulating fluidized bed boiler?

Although the fuel costs of lowest quality coal types are lower, they will increase the unit's maintenance costs due to problems such as wear and ash cooling and reduce its reliability; if you use the highest quality coal, the boiler is prone to insufficient circulating ash, especially due to the influence of the combustion method, its combustion efficiency is lower than that of conventional pulverized coal boilers, and it is not cost-effective. Through the statistics of plants in China, it is clear that the circulating fluidized bed boiler burns 10.5～20.9MJ/kg (2500～5000kcal/kg) fuel is more suitable.
