An explosion at a thermal power plant in Uzbekistan kills three people

According to Xinhua News Agency latest news Uzbekistan Ministry of Emergency Situations 20 confirmed that an explosion occurred in a thermal power plant in Angren city of Tashkent region in eastern Uzbekistan on 20, resulting in the death of three people and three people were injured.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that the explosion occurred at 11:42 a.m. local time, initially judged to be combustible dust mixed with air after the explosion. The accident did not cause wider casualties or damage to other infrastructure and equipment at the power plant, as the power plant was under repair.

The relevant authorities are currently conducting further investigation into the accident.
